Accreditation: This course is a fully SAQA / TETA Accredited course and is based on SAQA Unit Standard Number 242974. 

Purpose: This course is to be presented to ALL Counterbalance Lift Truck Operators. Course for the operators that was never licensed before.

Content:
1. Counterbalance lift truck theory.
2. Pre-operational checks
3. Practical operations
4. Shut down procedures

Assessments: The competent learner must prove 75% theoretical written test, pre-operational checks, driving skills, and shut down procedures for their practical assessment.

Entrance Qualifaction Conditions:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a declaration from the employer confirming the medical fistness.
  • An eye test result by a trained person to carried out such a test
    Shall wear their own personal protective equipment
