In all aspects of the business operations it is management's responsibility to ensure that safe work procedures are drafted and communicated to the relevant employees.
The responsibility to carry out the work processes in a safe manner now falls to the employees.
All employees must be aware that they are required to conduct themselves in a manner that ensures safe working processes / instructions are carried out in order to contribute to the well-being and safety of fellow employees and members of the public who enter your premises.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT SAFE WORK PROCEDURES ARE IMPLEMENTED AND ADHERED TO?
Every employee is responsible, by law, to adhere to and implement the Safe Work Procedures when carrying out their tasks and functions – [section 14 (a), (b) and (c) of the OHS Act].
Branch managers (or a member of management) have been delegated with the responsibility to ensure that safe work procedures are followed by everyone in their business units / branch and to correct the behaviour of those who do not take the precautionary measures. OHS Agreement Between Employer and the Contractor
COTRACTORS WORKING ON COMPANY PREMISES
Only authorised contractors are permitted to work or perform work on Company premises.
The contractors are required to comply with all health and safety requirements which we have implemented in our workplaces.
Prior to allowing a contractor to access our premises and perform any work, the Branch Manager or health and safety representative must verify that the contractor is an approved
contractor or service provider and the contractor must sign the OHS Agreement between Employer and Contractor Agreement.

The health and safety representative must inspect all contractor staff, equipment, tools and chemicals etc which are used by the contractor to ensure that they comply with the Company's health and safety standards.
